Twisted Foundation is proud to support A Queer Endeavor, an initiative of the CU-Boulder School of Education focused on supporting teachers and communities around topics of gender and sexual diversity in education. Their groundbreaking research and subsequent series of educational films are changing the landscape of LGBTQ advocacy and K-12 education.
A Queer Endeavor is their professional development curriculum for educating teachers on language, history, and allyship of the LGBTQ community. This work is helping teachers feel safer to come out, creating an environment where students feel more supported, and improving the school climate for everyone by opening up real conversations about the effects of discrimination in the classroom. We couldn’t be happier for their success and know that together we will continue to change the face of education in Boulder County.
